Climate: West Georgia is dominated by the subtropical climate, which is characterized by high humidity and precipitation. The climate of East Georgia (and capital Tbilisi) is drier and more continental. The mountain areas start at about 2100 meters; above 3600 - meters snow and ice never completely melt. Average summer temperatures range from 25°C to 30°C.
